Food bank Fulfill announces three new board members

Fulfill, a food bank whose mission is to alleviate hunger and build food security in Monmouth and Ocean counties, said Christine Gray, Antonio Ribeira, and Samantha Michaele joined as new members of its board of trustees.

“I’m delighted to welcome Christine, Antonio and Samantha to our board,” said Susan Kyrillos, board chair of Fulfill. “Their leadership and varied expertise will be key as we grow and adapt to the urgent and evolving needs of those we serve across Monmouth and Ocean counties.”

Gray serves as senior vice president, chief of staff to the president and chief operating officer OceanFirst Bank. She has more than 20 years of experience in commercial and retail banking to support strategic initiatives and oversee daily operations. As a resident of Point Pleasant, she is involved in her community, serving on the boards of the LADACIN Network, a nonprofit organization providing care to those with disabilities, and the Point Pleasant Foundation for Excellence in Education.

Ribeira is the principal-in-charge of accounting firm HBK’s Holmdel office and has been with the firm since 2014. He’s worked with small- to medium-sized private companies, not-for-profit organizations, government entities and benefit plans, providing audit, tax and consulting services. Ribeira is involved with professional and civic associations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. Ribeira volunteers his time at a food pantry in Bradley Beach.

Michaele currently acts as the director of business services for the School of Social Work (SSW) at Rutgers University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology and is currently pursuing her MBA at Rutgers Business School. She chairs Rutgers University’s SSW Staff Council and is the committee liaison for SSW Inclusion, Intersectionality, Diversity, Equity and Advancement.  

Fulfill has been addressing hunger in the Jersey Shore community since 1984. As an active member of Feeding America, Fulfill works with a network of nearly 300 partners, including soup kitchens, food pantries and shelters to provide 1.3 million meals per month to area residents, families, children, seniors, and veterans in need.
