Burlington Stores Inc., the New Jersey-based national off-price retailer, is marking the rollout of its refreshed stores by hosting special events in 21 major markets from Aug. 15-17.
These events include sweepstakes, giveaways, and more. Customers will have the opportunity to register in-store for a chance to win a $10,000 grand prize or a $250 gift card. Additionally, the first 100 customers each day at participating locations will receive a $5 bonus card.
The updates to stores reflect Burlington’s push to deliver more value, inspiration, and convenience across its nationwide footprint.
The new store layout is designed to enhance the customer experience. Shoppers will find an open layout that makes it quicker and easier to find their favorite brands, and signage that sparks ideas and showcases the latest must-have trends. The refresh is a part of Burlington’s attempt to be aligned with modern shopping habits.
The company said half of its 1,115 stores have already been converted, and all future new store openings will feature the updated branding and a smaller, more efficient layout. Most remaining locations are expected to transition to the new format by the end of 2026.
Burlington Stores Inc. has revenue of $10.63 billion as of Jan.1, 2025. Shares have fallen 2.6% so far this year on the Nasdaq Real Time index. The company operated 1,115 stores as of the end of the first quarter of fiscal 2025 in 46 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico, principally under the name Burlington Stores.
