Tocco appointed head of sales, business banking at Citizens

Manny Tocco will assume a newly created role as head of sales for business banking at Citizens, the bank said Aug. 15.

The bank said all market executives — Rich Testa (New England North), Cathy Fisher (Midwest), Nuno Francisco (Expansion Markets) and Maria Rassoulis (Mid-Atlantic) — will now report to Tocco, who will be based in New Jersey. 

Tocco has been with Citizens for more than 15 years. Since becoming chief operating officer in 2022, he has led several key initiatives, including transforming its operating model, expanding into the emerging middle market, launching the Business Banking Priority Services model and introducing the Vista Lending platform.
