Manasquan Bank held its 12th annual Community Day Sept. 13 at Squan Plaza in downtown Manasquan. The “Jaws”-themed celebration hosted hundreds of families, clients and neighbors for an afternoon of live entertainment from Thunder 106.3, free food and refreshments, kids’ rides, crafts, games, and giveaways.
Community Day is fully funded by Manasquan Bank and supported by its employees, who plan, organize, and work the event each year. The bank considers itself as a community partner for more than 150 years.
The event followed the bank’s 2025 Days of Giving program, which ran Sept. 8-12. Through this annual coin redemption initiative, clients were invited to cash in spare change at any Manasquan Bank branch. The bank donated an additional 15% of every transaction total to local charities, generating $10,000 in funding. Each of the five nonprofits will receive $2,000 to support their work in Monmouth, Middlesex and Ocean counties.
“Community Day and Days of Giving are shining examples of what it means to be a true community bank,” said Cathy Franzoni, chief operating officer of Manasquan Bank. “To see hundreds of families laughing, sharing, and celebrating together is a reminder of why we do what we do. Our team is honored to create these moments and proud to support local organizations that make such a difference in the lives of our neighbors.”
