Rendina Healthcare Real Estate and RWJBarnabas Health recently celebrated the grand opening of RWJBarnabas Health at Old Bridge, a 71,000-square-foot, ambulatory care center at 1980 Route 9. The facility officially opened its doors to patients on Sept. 29.
The center expands access to primary and specialty care services, bringing together under one roof clinics for heart and vascular, digestive health, general surgery, endocrinology, sports medicine, neurology, and neurosurgery. The facility also houses Family First Urgent Care, offering walk-in services seven days a week for acute, non-life-threatening conditions.
Additional services launching soon include the Matthew J. Morahan III Health Assessment Center for Athletes, Oncology/Hematology and Infusion in collaboration with Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, Rheumatology, New Jersey Imaging Network, JAG Physical Therapy, and LabCorp.
“This opening reflects our shared commitment to bring more care closer to home,” said Steve Barry, executive vice president, facilities management and real estate development at RWJBarnabas Health. “By combining primary care, specialty services, imaging, therapy, and urgent care in one location, we are making the experience simpler for patients and families while raising the overall standard of care. Rendina has been an exceptional partner in bringing this vision to reality.”
“Our partnership with RWJBarnabas Health spans more than a decade, and Old Bridge is the latest example of what we can achieve together,” said Richard M. Rendina, chairman and CEO of Rendina Healthcare Real Estate.
“This facility represents more than just a building. It is a purpose-built destination designed to make care more accessible, coordinated, and patient-centered for families in Old Bridge and its surrounding areas in New Jersey.”
