The Valley Hospital said Oct. 7 that Jeffrey Bokser joined the institution as vice president of ancillary services.
Bokser will have initial oversight of pharmaceutical, diagnostic imaging, and lab services. He will also be involved in strategic and operational projects, both on-site at The Valley Hospital and other off-site locations.
“As a longtime Bergen County resident, I have always admired Valley’s outstanding reputation for delivering exceptional care and setting the standard for patient experience,” said Bokser. “Valley Health System is a special place with incredible new state-of-the-art facilities that truly promote a comfortable healing environment. The doctors, nurses, and care teams who dedicate their lives to helping others are what make Valley so extraordinary.
Prior to joining Valley, Bokser served as vice president of Hagerty Consulting, where he worked with health systems across the country to build health-care operations. Before that, he served as a senior administrator at Yale New Haven Health.
Bokser also worked at New York-Presbyterian Hospital for 18 years, where he last served as vice president of operations.
“With his prior experience and knowledge of healthcare operations, we look forward to the growth he will lead, ultimately enhancing the operations across many Valley services,” said Dr. Robert Brenner, president and CEO of Valley Health System.
