Lucas joins First National Realty Partners as senior VP of investor relations

First National Realty Partners (FNRP), a leading national private equity commercial real estate firm in Red Bank, announced that Andrew Lucas will join the firm as senior vice president of investor relations. He will play a key role in advancing FNRP’s capital-raising strategy and enhancing engagement across its accredited investor community.

Lucas has more than 15 years of experience in capital markets and investor relations, and he brings a proven track record of building and managing successful fundraising platforms for private real estate firms.

“Andrew’s expertise in capital formation and relationship building makes him an excellent addition to our team,” said Ben Matheson, head of investor relations at FNRP. “His experience will be valuable as we scale our platform, broaden our investor base and continue improving the service and resources available to our investors.”

In this role, Lucas’ focus will be expanding participation in FNRP’s necessity-based retail offerings and creating opportunities for investors to engage more directly with the platform. In addition, he will be responsible for developing resources that provide transparency and timely insights, reinforcing FNRP’s commitment to keeping investors aligned with the firm’s long-term strategy.

“FNRP’s commitment to its investors and focus on necessity-based retail made this an exciting opportunity,” said Lucas. “I believe this asset class stands out for its relative resilience and consistency across market cycles, and I’m excited to contribute my experience to support the firm’s continued growth in this space.”

Before joining FNRP, Lucas served as managing director of capital markets at Trion Properties, where he oversaw investor relations, capital raising and strategic communications. Throughout his career, he has worked with a diverse capital base — including high-net-worth individuals, family offices and institutions — helping scale fundraising programs and deliver consistent results. His hands-on approach and broad experience across asset types and capital channels have contributed to more than $1.5 billion in real estate capital formation.

Lucas began his career as a commercial real estate broker and has held positions across investment sales, real estate debt and equity platforms. He earned a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master’s degree from the University of Baltimore.
