KSS Architects adds five principals

KSS Architects announced the promotion of five principals at the architecture, interior design and planning partnership — Beth Emig, Alicia Heinsen, Srinath Nallan, Kyle Rendall and Andrew Sniderman.

The group represents the next generation of KSS’s collaborative leadership, advancing the firm’s vision of Today for Tomorrow through design excellence, mentorship, and strategic impact. Collectively, they bring expertise across education, housing, workplace, industrial, construction administration, and firm operations.

Beth Emig is recognized as a trusted leader in education, spanning K–12 to higher education, and in the design of environments that support individuals with neurological and developmental challenges. From Rowan University’s Discovery Hall to Bancroft’s Mount Laurel Campus, her work exemplifies the power of architecture to uplift and inspire. She resides in Philadelphia and works out of the firm’s Center City office.

Alicia Heinsen has helped grow KSS’s housing, workplace, and industrial sectors. Her work on 510 Carnegie Center and Innovation Park is an example of Heinsen’s thoughtful approach to project delivery and people development. She’s a resident of Mickleton and works out of KSS’ Philadelphia office.  

Since joining KSS, Srinath Nallan, principal, executive director, finance, has formalized processes, strengthened financial systems, and enhanced the firm’s overall understanding of performance and accountability. Nallan served for 10 years in India’s Merchant Navy that shaped his views on global matters. He resides in Princeton and works out of KSS’s Princeton office.  

Kyle Rendall, principal, director of construction administration, began his KSS journey as an intern in 2007. He has experience with construction partners and a commitment to excellence in execution can be seen at The Pier Club and The Foundry Club. Rendall resides in Princeton and works out of KSS’s Princeton office.

Andrew Sniderman is a design leader known for his ability to synthesize complex ideas and communicate them with clarity. His projects include Edelman Fossil Park & Museum of Rowan University. He also plays a key role in recruitment and thought leadership across the firm. Sniderman is a resident of Wynnewood, Pa., and works out of KSS’ Philadelphia office.
