INVIDI Technologies, a pioneer in addressable advertising, has announced a new solution that drastically reduces the cost of delivering targeted ads on internet-delivered live TV. The new product, INVIDI Fuse, uses innovative client-side manifest manipulation, or CSMM, to eliminate high server costs typically associated with large-scale live events.
Current industry standards, such as server-side ad insertion, or SSAI, result in soaring costs during major live broadcasts, making targeted ads during sporting events economically challenging. INVIDI Fuse addresses this issue with an architecture that keeps cloud delivery costs flat regardless of audience size, enabling cost-effective addressable advertising on live internet TV.
According to the company, key advantages of INVIDI Fuse include:
- Radical Cost Reduction: Eliminates the variable, volume-based server costs of SSAI and significantly reduces CDN costs. Costs for the INVIDI decisioning engine are minimal and nominal.
- Unlimited Scalability: Advertising delivery is no longer constrained by SSAI capacity, making it ideal for the largest live sporting and entertainment events.
- Operational Simplicity: Requires only a single advertising manifest, streamlining operations and further reducing overhead compared to multi-manifest SSAI systems.
“Until now, the cost of technology has been the single biggest barrier to scalable addressable advertising on live TV,” said Prasad Sanagavarapu, chief operating officer INVIDI. “INVIDI Fuse shatters that barrier.
“We are enabling our clients to finally unlock the premium value of their live inventory, dramatically improve their margins and offer advertisers precision targeting at a scale that was previously unimaginable. The market response has been overwhelmingly positive.”
