Stevens & Lee adds Kelly to boost litigation team

Stevens & Lee announced Dec. 2 that litigator Catherine Pastrikos Kelly has joined the firm’s litigation department as a shareholder.

Kelly is an adviser and litigator, working with businesses and stakeholders to navigate high-stakes business disputes. Her practice spans contract, shareholder and employment litigation, fraud claims and business tort matters.

Her addition to Stevens & Lee follows a string of recent lateral growth for the firm throughout the New Jersey/New York metro region.

“Catherine is a superb litigator with an impressive track record in the courtroom,” said Stevens & Lee President and CEO William P. Thornton, Jr. “She is adept at handling complex litigation across disciplines and borders and advising companies on pre-litigation strategy – and all with a focus on carefully tailored advice and client service excellence. Catherine is a natural fit for the firm and a tremendous resource for our clients.”

As a Greek American attorney with strong ties to the United Kingdom, Kelly brings a deep understanding of Greek, British and American commercial and legal norms, making her a particularly effective advocate for Greek and British clients navigating legal matters in the U.S.

Kelly is a member of the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association, where she is a co-director of the Endorsements Committee.

She also is a founder and serves as director and general counsel for the Children’s Light Foundation, a national nonprofit that works to ensure that every child in the foster system has “access to the things that make being a kid fun.”
