Flaster Greenberg said Dec. 2 that Peter A. Chacanias has joined the Cherry Hill-based firm’s real estate and land use and environmental departments.
In his role as counsel, Chacanias will advise commercial real estate developers and property owners on all areas of real estate from concept to ribbon cutting including development, redevelopment, affordable housing, permitting and environmental compliance.
Chacanias’ has a background in representing clients before planning boards, zoning boards of adjustment and other regulatory bodies across New Jersey. He brings experience with site plan approvals, subdivisions, variance applications, as well as waterfront development, tidelands, wetlands, pinelands, and historic preservation matters, plus interaction with state and federal environmental agencies.

Prior to representing developers, Chacanias served as a board solicitor for several municipal bodies throughout New Jersey, including the Point Pleasant Beach Planning Board, and the Zoning Boards of Adjustment for the municipalities of Little Egg Harbor, Toms River and Summit.
