Hackensack Meridian Health named Official NYNJ World Cup 2026 Host City Supporter

Hackensack Meridian Health, New Jersey’s largest health network, announced that it is an Official New York New Jersey World Cup 2026 Host City Supporter ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026. 

Hackensack Meridian Health will support the NYNJ Host Committee as it prepares the region in hosting eight FIFA World Cup matches in 2026, including the championship game at MetLife Stadium on July 19, as well as FIFA Fan Festival New York New Jersey at Liberty State Park and other events. 

The announcement includes Hackensack Meridian Health as the Official Hometown Hospital of the NYNJ 2026 World Cup Host Committee underscoring Hackensack Meridian Health’s commitment to building healthier communities through medical support for matches and for the millions of visitors expected to be in the state for FIFA World Cup 2026 events.

The schedule of World Cup matches at MetLife Stadium was revealed last week:

  • Saturday, June 13: Brazil vs. Morocco at 6 p.m. 
  • Tuesday, June 16: France vs. Senegal at 3 p.m. 
  • Monday, June 22: Norway vs. Senegal at 8 p.m. 
  • Thursday, June 25: Ecuador vs. Germany at 4 p.m. 
  • Saturday, June 27: Panama vs. England at 5 p.m. 
  • Tuesday, June 30: Round of 32
  • Sunday, July 5: Round of 16
  • Sunday, July 19: Final
