Accounting advisory firm DLA LLC said Dec. 15 that Thomas J. Keane has joined as a partner within the forensic, valuation and litigation support services practice. He assumes his role immediately.
In this senior leadership role, he will help expand DLA’s matrimonial litigation support, forensic accounting, valuation and litigation support services across the firm’s key markets.
His responsibilities will include leading valuation and forensic engagements, advising on litigation strategy, offering expert insights into financial and accounting issues, managing engagement teams, and supporting DLA’s efforts to deepen its presence across major markets. He will also contribute to the firm’s growth initiatives by drawing on his longstanding relationships within the legal and financial communities.
Keane has more than 25 years of specialized experience, including extensive work in matrimonial litigation, forensic accounting, business valuation and complex financial investigations.
He most recently served as a senior director with Cleveland-based CBIZ Forensic Consulting Group, where he provided economic, financial, and accounting expertise to attorneys, frequently advising on disputes and supervising teams responsible for delivering valuation analyses and litigation support. His work encompassed matrimonial matters, forensic investigations, operational reviews and expert advisory services.
Earlier in his career, Keane spent 12 years with Big Four accounting firms such as an auditor with Arthur Andersen’s financial services practice and at KPMG, where he rose to the level of senior manager.Â
He also held a leadership role as assistant controller and director for a publicly traded cancer diagnostics and research company in New York City.Â
