Jefferson Health Primary Care in Cherry Hill now offers Saturday morning telehealth appointments from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., expanding their commitment to being the most accessible primary care practice in Southern New Jersey.
Appointments can be scheduled through this link, 1-800-JEFF-NOW or MyChart, the Jefferson Health patient portal. All visit types are welcome, including urgent, new and established patient appointments.
“The Jefferson Health Primary Care team is excited to offer Saturday telehealth hours, resulting in more options when it comes to addressing the health care needs of those in our communities,” said Senior Medical Director of Primary Care, Edward Reis.
“Whether it be to treat a common childhood illness, conduct a regular diabetes check-in or anything in between, improving the lives of patients starts with fitting health care into their lives.”
Telehealth appointments provide convenient ways for patients to address their health care needs. Patients can attend appointments from home or work, avoiding taking time off from work while cutting down travel time and transportation costs. Telehealth patients also avoid exposure to contagious illnesses in waiting rooms.
Additionally, minor health issues (colds, infections, etc.) can be addressed before they worsen, which can prevent ER visits.
