Incoming Assemblyman Bhalla to join asset management firm as co-head of infrastructure finance

Dundon Advisers LLC, which serves institutional clients in restructuring, asset management and corporate credit transactions, announced that Ravinder “Ravi” S. Bhalla will join the White Plains, N.Y.-based firm on Jan. 15, as co-head of infrastructure finance. He will also be associated with affiliates Dundon Markets LLC and Island Dundon LLC.

Before joining Dundon, Bhalla will complete his second and final term as mayor of Hoboken and begin his first term as a New Jersey State assemblyman, representing Hoboken and parts of Jersey City.

“We are excited to offer our private- and public-sector clients Ravi’s tremendous leadership in bringing critical infrastructure investments from concept to reality,” said Matthew Dundon, principal of Dundon.

“We will build on his success that scales both local, leading the way on over $500 million in infrastructure projects and global, becoming an important thought leader among government officials and corporate executives on infrastructure investment matters.”

“I am thrilled to start to work with Matt and his colleagues,” said Bhalla. “I believe their 10-year track record of providing first-rate financial services to institutional clients will enable me to broaden into new domains (with) my long-standing commitment to smart infrastructure investment, powered by capital markets, commercial partners and governmental support.”

Previously, Bhalla was an attorney in private practice and a member of the Hoboken City Council. He holds an AB from the University of California at Berkeley, an MSc from the London School of Economics and a JD from Tulane University Law School.
