RWJBarnabas Health lands naming rights to Red Bulls’ Morris Township training center

Red Bull New York has signed a partnership agreement with RWJBarnabas Health that will make the New Jersey-based health system the naming-rights partner of the club’s new performance center in Morris Township.

Under the agreement, the facility will be known as the RWJBarnabas Health Red Bulls Performance Center. RWJBarnabas Health also will become the Official Hometown Healthcare System and EMS Provider of Sports Illustrated Stadium, Red Bull New York, Red Bull New York II, and the organization’s youth programs and academy. The health system also will serve as the Official Health and Wellness Provider of Red Bulls Youth Programs.

RWJBarnabas Health branding will appear on Red Bull New York training gear, including tops, training jackets and specialty warmups, the organizations said. RWJBarnabas Health also will be the presenting partner of the club’s preseason and will have a presence at home matches at Sports Illustrated Stadium, including activations on the club’s pre-match fanfest, BULLevard.

The partnership includes player health and performance support. Gerardo Chiricolo, MD, will serve as chief medical officer, working with the club’s training staff and athlete care team. RWJBarnabas Health will provide medical testing services, including team physicals, imaging, lab work, rehabilitation plans and injury prevention strategies and treatment, according to the announcement.

The performance center is planned on an 80-acre parcel in Morris Township and is scheduled to open in March 2026. The complex will include eight full-size outdoor soccer pitches with a mix of heated, irrigated natural grass and turf surfaces, including a 500-seat match field designated for academy games. Outdoor training areas will feature technology such as multi-angle camera tracking systems for analytics and player development.

A custom-designed building will include fully equipped gyms for professional and academy teams, a dining hall with nutrition spaces and a professional chef, academic spaces for youth education, and a medical suite and innovation lab with physiotherapy spaces for preparation, rehabilitation and recovery.

“We are proud to become the Naming Rights Partner of the RWJBarnabas Health Red Bulls Performance Center and to serve as the Official Hometown Healthcare System of Red Bull New York,” said Mark E. Manigan, president and CEO of RWJBarnabas Health.

Marc de Grandpré, president and general manager of Red Bull New York, said the two organizations share “the same values and a strong belief in the meaningful role a club can play in its community.”

The organizations also said the partnership will include community initiatives such as “Red Bull For A Day,” along with opportunities for local soccer clubs to participate in halftime mini-games at Sports Illustrated Stadium presented by RWJBarnabas Health. A health and wellness education series is planned for parents of New Jersey-based youth soccer programs, with on-site and virtual sessions on topics including sports performance, nutrition, rehabilitation and player safety.
