The New Jersey Utilities Association said Jan. 15 that Andrew Hendry, regional president of Atlantic City Electric, and Teresa Reed, vice president, finance and regulatory for Jersey Central Power & Light, have been elected to its board of directors, effective immediately.
Both Hendry and Reed’s nominations were unanimously approved by the NJUA Board at its Dec. 16, 2025, board of directors meeting.
“With the addition of both Andrew Hendry and Teresa Reed, the NJUA Board comprises the leading visionaries of the state’s utility industry,” said Richard Henning, president and CEO, NJUA. “Andrew’s proven ability to drive governmental policy transformation and Teresa’s deep expertise in regulatory affairs will be critical as we work with our new Governor to elevate our customers’ experience.”
Hendry has more than two decades of experience in the utility industry and state government. As regional president of ACE, he leads external affairs strategy development and execution, with a focus on strengthening relationships with stakeholders across South Jersey, including elected officials and civic, community and business leaders.
Before joining ACE, Hendry served as senior adviser of regulatory affairs for Jersey Central Power and Light, a FirstEnergy company, where he led regulatory strategy development and represented the company in front of the Board of Public Utilities and state government. Previously, he held the role of president and CEO of the New Jersey Utilities Association. His other experience includes serving as executive director of the New Jersey Senate Majority Office, and positions at the Office of Legislative Services, Assembly Majority Office and Comcast.
Reed joined FirstEnergy from Duke Energy Corp., where she had been director, rates and regulatory planning, rate design and pricing solutions since 2020. In that role, she led rate design, customer renewable offers, pricing strategy and execution for the company’s service territory in the Carolinas.
She joined Duke Energy in 2008 as a senior auditor and held positions in supply chain, compliance and customer solutions and strategy. She began her career at Railinc Corp. and eventually became that company’s controller.
