The Associated Construction Contractors of New Jersey (ACCNJ) said ACCNJ Education Manager Shamara Gatling-Davila has joined the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board (GRWDB).
Members of the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board represent a variety of private business sectors, non-profit agencies and state and county divisions. Gatling-Davila brings over a decade of experience in public workforce development, education, and community engagement to the role.
“Her dedication to education and training has strengthened our association as we continue to build pathways for New Jersey’s next generation of construction professionals,” said Jack Kocsis, ACCNJ CEO. “This appointment recognizes her leadership and experience, and we are confident she will be a strong asset to the board.”
Gatling-Davila spent a decade with the Middlesex County Office of Workforce and Career Development, serving in multiple roles, including career counselor, workforce development board policy analyst, and business development manager, ultimately overseeing business services for the Middlesex County Workforce Development Board from 2021 to 2024. She was appointed to the GRWDB after another board member stepped down at the end of her 2025 term.

Gatling-Davila also worked for the Division of Youth and Family Services (now known as the Division of Child Protection and Permanency), working with families and the community.
