CSG Law names leaders for corporate, litigation practice groups

Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC (CSG Law), with an office in Roseland, said that Members Michelle J. Delaney and Lisa M. Colone have been named practice group leaders of the corporate group and the litigation group.

“In this new role, I will use the business acumen I have developed over the course of my career to drive continued growth and excellence for the corporate group, and to foster the talent and camaraderie of our team,” said Delaney. “I look forward to partnering with my colleagues across different departments at CSG Law to respond to client needs and deliver practical, thoughtful and multidisciplinary solutions to help our clients succeed.”

Delaney has experience in private M&A, venture capital, debt and equity financings and general corporate matters including business formation, governance and compliance. She formerly served as a clerk to the Honorable Francis J. Vernoia, Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division.

Colone said she is looking forward to “collaborating with Marisa Rauchway and the Chairs of the Litigation Group to help guide our exceptionally talented group’s continued growth and success.”

Colone also serves as the chair of the Securities Enforcement Group. Before CSG Law, she  was a vice president in FINRA’s Department of Enforcement, where she led a team of chief counsels and more than 100 attorneys in investigating and enforcing violations of FINRA rules and federal securities laws.

Colone also previously served FINRA’s Department of Enforcement as chief counsel and as senior regional counsel, and, before FINRA, she spent nearly nine years with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey, including as deputy chief of the Criminal Division.
