Cooper Levenson to be legal counsel for Bader Field redevelopment

Cooper Levenson, a law firm with experience in redevelopment and public-private partnerships, has been selected to serve as legal counsel for the redevelopment of Bader Field, supporting DEEM Enterprises as it advances a redevelopment effort in Atlantic City.

Cooper Levenson is experienced in land use, redevelopment, infrastructure, and public-sector matters. The firm is known for guiding complex, large-scale redevelopment and public-private partnership projects from concept through completion, supporting some of the region’s most significant civic and transformative initiatives.

In its role as lead legal counsel, Cooper Levenson will provide legal advisory services to support DEEM Enterprises’ careful and collaborative approach to the Bader Field redevelopment, including regulatory and land-use guidance, transactional support, and counsel on public-private coordination.

The firm’s experience focuses on projects that require thorough planning, infrastructure investment, and close coordination with municipal and public-sector partners.

The redevelopment of Bader Field represents a significant milestone for Atlantic City and is an opportunity to reimagine a long-underutilized site in generations. Led by DEEM Enterprises, the project is envisioned as a comprehensive Motorsport lifestyle community, a planned mixed-use effort designed to support long-term economic growth, job creation, and renewed interest in the city, while respecting its history and character.

“The redevelopment of Bader Field represents a bold and forward-looking vision for Atlantic City,” said Lloyd Levenson, chief executive officer of Cooper Levenson. “We are proud to support a project rooted in responsible development, long-term planning, and close collaboration with city and state partners as this important effort moves forward. We look forward to working closely with DEEM Enterprises and public-sector partners to support a careful, collaborative process for Bader Field.”

The Bader Field redevelopment is envisioned as a forward-looking, sustainability-driven project, incorporating advanced environmental technologies and design principles designed to meet LEED Platinum standards. Developed with a focus on long-term economic, environmental, and community benefits, the project is intended to deliver lasting value for Atlantic City and the broader South Jersey region. Over time, it is expected to serve as a meaningful catalyst for continued investment, redevelopment, and revitalization across the city.

Cooper Levenson, established in 1957, is a full-service law firm with offices in New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Florida.

DEEM Enterprises is a group of about 300 professionals leading the redevelopment of Bader Field in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
