Newark–based Tanenbaum Keale LLP said that Catherine G. Bryan, William D. Deveau, Jeffrey L. O’Hara, Samuel P. Quatromoni, and Abigail Rossman have joined the firm as partners, and that Zachary Nastro has joined as special counsel, further strengthening the firm’s national trial and litigation platform.
The group arrives from Connell Foley LLP and brings decades of combined experience representing corporate clients in high-stakes litigation. Their addition reflects Tanenbaum Keale’s strategy of deliberate, values-driven growth and builds on the firm’s New York presence, marked by the relocation of its New York City office to a larger space in Manhattan to accommodate the firm’s continued expansion.
“These are proven trial lawyers who have spent their careers in courtrooms,” said James H. Keale, chair of Tanenbaum Keale. “Each of them brings judgment earned through experience, credibility earned through results, and a client-first mindset that fits seamlessly with who we are and how we practice.”
Bryan is a trial lawyer concentrating on complex casualty, transportation, insurance defense, and product liability litigation. She has served as lead trial counsel in state and federal courts across multiple jurisdictions and is recognized for her courtroom advocacy and defense-bar leadership.
Deveau focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, insurance coverage disputes, environmental matters, and high-exposure claims arising from construction, transportation, energy production, and catastrophic loss. In addition to representing national insurers and corporate clients, he previously served as an environmental law clerk for the U.S. Department of Justice.
O’Hara is a veteran first-chair trial lawyer certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Civil Trial Attorney and widely regarded for his work in catastrophic injury, product liability, and complex commercial litigation.
Quatromoni focuses his practice on complex litigation involving premises liability, construction accidents, property damage, and product liability. He has extensive experience preparing and litigating cases for trial, including managing discovery, depositions, and dispositive motion practice, and has played key roles in significant commercial matters, including the New York Asbestos Litigation.
Rossman focuses her practice on complex civil litigation from pre-litigation stages through trial and appeal with a specialty in construction-related matters, including New York Labor Law and construction defect. Abigail also regularly represents clients in complex casualty, insurance defense, product liability and commercial litigation matters.
Nastro concentrates his practice on insurance defense, labor law and construction litigation, premises liability, and general negligence. He has represented corporations, educational institutions, insurers, and individual clients across all phases of litigation, including trials, arbitrations, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
Tanenbaum Keale was founded in 2017 by veteran litigators and trial lawyers, Michael A. Tanenbaum, James H. Keale and Thomas D. Robertson.
