Conduent names chief tech, product officer

Florham Park-based Conduent Inc., a digital interactions company, announced it has appointed Rahul Gupta its new chief technology and product officer.

In this role, Gupta will be responsible for end-to-end product and platform management. He will also be charged with product roadmaps, marketing and partnerships.

Gupta joined Conduent in 2017 as the leader of its Information Technology Services organization.

“With more than 20 years of experience in leadership, transformation and delivery in IT services, Rahul has the experience needed to help us innovate and grow,” Jeff Friedel, chief people officer, Conduent, said. “Rahul will play a critical role in leading the next phase of our technology transformation as we continue to make significant investments to help our clients accelerate their digital journeys.”

Prior to Conduent, Gupta was at Capgemini where he led its Application Development and Enterprise Applications organization. Before that, he held leadership roles at IT companies including iGATE, Infosys, HCL and Telstra.
