Christopher D. Adams, Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis

Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP is pleased to announce that Christopher D. Adams has joined the firm as a partner in the Litigation Department. Adams, who concentrates his practice in the areas of criminal defense, internal investigations, attorney ethics and disciplinary proceedings, as well as complex commercial litigation, will chair the firm’s Criminal Defense & Regulatory Compliance Practice Group.

With a national practice and a demonstrated track record of success in taking on difficult matters at both the state and federal level, Adams has served as counsel to numerous high-profile individuals, including professional athletes, elected officials and candidates for public office. He has also represented political campaigns and numerous public and private business entities in criminal and quasi-criminal investigations, administrative enforcement proceedings, and criminal prosecutions.

Bertone Piccini LLP

Bertone Piccini LLP, a boutique law firm based in Hasbrouck Heights, announced the appointment of two new partners: Richard G. Lyons and Sean R. McGowan.

Since its founding in 2010 by Grace C. Bertone and Jeremy S. Piccini, the firm has grown to include 14 attorneys, focusing on practice areas including commercial real estate, corporate and business transactions, litigation, employment, estate planning, healthcare and more.

David S. Neufeld, JEB-UTEA

David S. Neufeld, an attorney and shareholder in Flaster Greenberg P.C.‘s Boca Raton, Florida, and Cherry Hill offices, was recently appointed to the Joint Editorial Board of the Uniform Laws Commission for Trust & Estate Acts by the American Bar Association Section of Real Property Trust & Estate Law. The board is composed of 24 members, including those appointed by the ULC, ABA-RPTE and the American College of Trust & Estate Counsel, and monitors legal developments in trust and estate law and recommends new uniform acts or amendments to existing acts.

“It is an overwhelming honor to be able to participate with some of the best legal minds in the development of laws that will resound for generations,” Neufeld said when notified of the appointment.

Neufeld has practiced law for more than 30 years, advising individuals and businesses around the globe and foreign governments on sophisticated planning for income tax, estate tax, state residency tax, asset protection and insurance and investment planning. He is past chair of the Insurance & Financial Planning Committee of ABA-RPTE among other leadership positions within the ABA.

Julia Brines, Strategic Funding Alternatives LLC

Strategic Funding Alternatives LLC, a privately held commercial real estate investment firm, welcomes Julia Brines, a seasoned professional with more than 15 years’ experience in commercial banking and lending. As director of investor relations, Brines will be an integral part of the company’s continued growth. Her focus is one of business development, raising equity capital from private investors for the firm’s real estate acquisitions with the introduction of alternative investment strategies and mitigation of market risk. She also manages communication between SFA and the investor group.

Prior to joining SFA, Brines spent much of her career in the commercial banking industry, first as a branch manager. She went on manage sales and streamline investor portfolios of high net worth individuals and midsize businesses.

Jonathan Minardi, Sheldon Gross Realty Inc.

Freehold resident Jonathan Minardi recently joined Sheldon Gross Realty Inc. as a corporate sales representative.

His new role will enable him to focus exclusively on commercial real estate sales. Minardi previously worked for Neuhaus Realty as a sales associate, and was primarily engaged in residential property sales.

Carolyn Hardwick, SQUAN

SQUAN, an industry leader specializing in telecommunications design/build services for network infrastructure, announced the appointment of Carolyn Hardwick as its new national director, business development. While her primary responsibility is to lead business development efforts in engineering, Hardwick will bring much more to SQUAN’s growth and expansion as wireline, fiber and wireless carriers continue to converge and intensify pressure on operational excellence.

A highly experienced telecom/wireless communications professional, Hardwick has garnered a wealth of industry knowledge from her past professional experiences that she will leverage in this new role and has a proven record of successfully supporting business expansion efforts throughout her career.

Priscilla Hung, Vonage

Vonage, a global business cloud communications leader, has appointed Priscilla Hung as an independent director to its board of directors. Hung joins nine additional directors, eight of whom are also independent.

“We are pleased to welcome Priscilla Hung to the Vonage Board,” said Gary Steele, chair of the Nominating and Governance Committee. “Her vast experience in enterprise software in both startup and public companies will make a tremendous impact on the Company’s growth as a business cloud communications leader and our continued innovation within this space.”

Erin Janides, Caliber Financial Partners

Caliber Financial Partners, a comprehensive financial planning firm based in Jersey City, announced the addition of Erin Janides as director of operations.

Janides is the newest member of Caliber Financial’s leadership team, joining founder and President Patrick Healey. As director of operations, Janides will oversee the firm’s operational, client service and marketing needs.
