Construction begins on luxury transit community in Secaucus

Construction has started on a luxury rental apartment community in Secaucus, according to real estate developers Woodmont Properties in Fairfield and Canoe Brook Development in Roseland.

The property, which is located at 1631 Paterson Plank Road, will have four stories and will feature 116 one- and two-bedroom units with a three-story parking garage.

“With each of our properties, we strive to identify walkable and vibrant locations that offer residents a unique lifestyle and experience, and our development in Secaucus is no exception,” Stephen Santola, executive vice president and general counsel at Woodmont Properties, said. “Just a short distance away from American Dream, residents will have access to a wide variety of dining, retail and entertainment right in their backyard.”

The community will provide residents with bus access to midtown Manhattan and is walking distance to downtown Secaucus. The open-concept apartments will have gourmet kitchens, high-end appliances and quartz countertops with modern bathrooms, walk-in closets and in-unit washers and dryers. The apartment’s amenities include a clubroom with billiards and gaming; a fitness center with virtual classes; a children’s play room; outdoor courtyards; BBQ grills; and more.

“We’re thrilled to begin development on this truly stunning boutique luxury community,” Jack Tycher, partner at Canoe Brook Development, said. “With its location on a charming cul-de-sac and its walkability to several of the neighborhood parks and destinations, it’s sure to attract residents who are seeking convenience and access to some of the top amenities the community has to offer in close proximity to New York City.”
