Avaap, an Edison-based technology management firm, has sold its Infor business unit to ASGN Inc., it announced this week.
Avaap Infor, which focused on the Infor Healthcare, Infor Manufacuturing and Infor Europe software business, will become part of Virginia-based ASGN’s Apex Systems division, the company said.
“We are excited for the next evolution of Avaap, and the transaction represents continued execution of the strategic plan to deliver excellent value to our customers, investors and individuals who build their career at Avaap,” founder and CEO Dhiraj Shah said in a prepared statement. “Our strategic priorities include an increased focus and allocation of resources toward our other businesses to build momentum in the industries we serve, while continuing to offer a best-place-to-work experience for employees who choose to build their career at Avaap.
“Today’s announcement helps position Avaap to further grow our business, increase opportunities for employees and unlock additional value for our investors.”
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
