Raritan officials, developers celebrate opening of rental community

Officials and developers cut the ribbon recently on a luxury rental community in Raritan, Accurate Builders and Developers announced this week.

Crossings at Raritan Station includes 276 rental residences, and leasing for the first phase of 113 units has begun, with more than 80% leased and nearly 100 residents moved in, Accurate Builders said in a news release. Applications are being accepted for the second and third phases of the community.

Apartments include studio through two-bedroom layouts, and rents start at $1,892 a month, including incentives. Immediate occupancy is available.

“Crossings at Raritan Station reflects our commitment to the borough with the transformation of this critical and well-located site into a modern residential address that is attracting new residents to Raritan while benefiting the community at large,” Jack Klugmann, CEO and president of Accurate Builders, said in a prepared statement. “Borough officials and the many agencies involved did an excellent job in planning for this project and outlining their vision for the property. I’m proud to say that we have delivered on our promise to enhance that vision through our experience and expertise and turn it into a reality.”

The ceremonial ribbon-cutting featured Raritan Mayor Zachary Bray.

“From the inception of this area being declared in need of redevelopment, until today, we recognized Crossings at Raritan Station as a project that is vital to the future of Raritan, and we could not be happier with the finished product,” he said in a statement. “Raritan now has an excellent opportunity on its hands. Through smart growth, we are well-positioned for a prosperous future, and that includes the revitalization of our downtown.”

Devereaux and Associates designed the interiors and the Marketing Directors is the exclusive marketing and leasing agent for the property.
