Larken Associates inks renewal with human services agency at Branchburg Commons

Larken Associates on Thursday said it negotiated a 4,109-square-foot lease renewal with Benchmark Human Services at Branchburg Commons, located at 3322 Route 22 W. in Branchburg.

Benchmark Human Services moved to Branchburg Commons in 2018 to better serve the surrounding communities in the areas of intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral health.

Founded in 1960 and headquartered in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Benchmark Human Services has grown to become one of the most respected organizations in the country, providing more than 10,000 children and adults nationwide with residential, employment, crisis response, behavioral, recovery, children’s services and day services.

Located along Route 22 West with easy access to Routes 28, 31, 202 and 206 and Interstates 78 and 287, Branchburg Commons is an ideally situated medical and professional office campus in the heart of Somerset County. Spread across 19 acres of professionally landscaped and managed grounds, the 15-building complex offers 116,526 square feet of space along with on-site day care, abundant parking spaces and high-speed internet access. This combination of location, adaptability and amenities has made it the preferred home for a diverse array of professional and medical tenants like Benchmark Human Services.

“The unmatched adaptability of Branchburg Commons continues to make it an attractive place to do business for tenants from a diverse array of industries,” said Victor Kelly, executive vice president of Raider Realty, the in-house brokerage division of Larken Associates. “We are thrilled to see Branchburg Commons remain as Benchmark’s northern New Jersey home, and we look forward to continuing our relationship together for years to come.”

David Ross, vice president of Benchmark, added: “We have enjoyed our long-term relationship with Larken Associates and have found them to be very accommodating. They were especially helpful in their ability to add space and modify our lease as we grew over time. We serve people with disabilities to help them thrive, and Larken Associates is a partner in that mission.”
