Optometrist coming to Wall Towne Center in Manasquan

Levin Management arranges 2,200-sq.-ft. lease with optical provider

Wall Eyecare Associates is coming to the area’s Towne Center in Manasquan, according to a Wednesday announcement from Levin Management Corp. The 100,000-square-foot, grocery-anchored retail property sits on Route 34, less than one quarter mile from the intersection of Route 35.

North Plainfield-based LMC serves as exclusive leasing and managing agent for Wall Towne Center. LMC leasing representative Kendal Hand-Freda arranged the 2,200-square-foot Wall Eyecare Associates transaction; Kent Lorentzen of Coletta Commercial Realty represented the tenant.

Owned and operated by Dr. Jennifer Ward, Wall Eyecare Associates specializes in providing comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings and the treatment and management of eye disease and eye infections.

An established local optometrist, Ward was a Pearle Vision franchisee at another Wall location before opening her own practice at Wall Towne Center.

Hand-Freda noted that Wall Eyecare Associates represents a high-quality addition to Wall Towne Center.

“Health care concepts are excellent traffic drivers that contribute significantly to a retail property’s overall ‘destination’ atmosphere,” she said. “Along with its great mix of tenants, Wall Towne Center provides Dr. Ward with an accessible and highly visible location that is convenient for her current — and future — clients. We are pleased to bring this vision care option to the community.”

Earlier this year, Wall Towne Center welcomed another new tenant, Master Park’s Black Belt America. Located at 2433-2445 Route 34, the property is anchored by a 71,000-square-foot ShopRite supermarket and also includes AT&T Wireless, Cherry Blow Dry Bar, Great Clips, Joe’s Bagel & Grill, Ocean First Bank and Wine King, along with a strong roster of local restaurant and service providers. Wall Towne Center serves a residential population of 130,000 people within a five-mile radius. More than 34,000 vehicles pass the property each day.
