Linden luxury rental community sees 1st residents move in

Upscale amenities and modern interior spaces in suburban transit-oriented community

Citizen Linden, the luxury rental community in downtown Linden that celebrated its grand opening in December, has welcomed its first residents to the building, Accurate Builders & Developers announced Monday.

The new community, located at 307 W. Elizabeth Ave., is now home to renters looking for brand-new interior spaces, modern layouts, upscale amenities and a downtown location near shops, restaurants and the Linden train station.

With 234 residences, 4,500 square feet of street-level retail space, a 292-space parking garage and a wide variety of indoor and outdoor amenity areas, Citizen Linden offers renters a collection of studio, one- and two-bedroom residences featuring plush living spaces crafted with today’s sophisticated renter in mind.

The community’s exclusive marketing and leasing agent, the Marketing Directors, reports that the initial leasing pace has been strong. Rental rates start at $1,810 net effective, inclusive of grand opening incentives that are available for a limited time.

“Seeing our first residents move into Citizen Linden and hearing from them just how much they enjoy living here is very gratifying,” said Jack Klugmann, CEO and president of Accurate Builders & Developers. “Our team put a lot of thought and effort into every detail of this community to ensure that it offers a high-quality lifestyle experience to our residents. The initial leasing pace has been strong, the downtown Linden location has been a hit, and we look forward to the continued success of the building.”

Designed by Thomas J. Brennan Architects, Citizen Linden features modern finishes and appointments such as luxury flooring, custom roller shade window treatments, 9-foot ceilings, and an in-residence washer & dryer in every home. The community’s contemporary kitchens are functional and stylish, with attractive details such as white quartz countertops, subway tile backsplash, custom espresso cabinetry, chrome Moen fixtures, a gas range and stainless-steel appliances.

“The appeal of Citizen Linden’s stylish residences, modern amenities and a convenient, transit-friendly location in a thriving suburban downtown setting is driving interest in the community,” said Jacqueline Urgo, president of the Marketing Directors. “Residents also appreciate the value found here in terms of just how much they’re getting for their rental dollar. It’s a compelling combination that is resonating in the market.”

Residents of Citizen Linden are just steps from the Linden train station, which provides frequent service to Manhattan and downtown Newark on New Jersey Transit’s Northeast Corridor and North Jersey Coast lines. Manhattan is about a 40-minute train ride away. Other major employment centers, attractions and shore destinations are easily accessible via local roads that connect to the Garden State Parkway, New Jersey Turnpike, and Routes 1 and 9.
