Larken Associates inks 3,000 sq, ft. expansion lease at Hillsborough Business Center

Larken Associates negotiated a lease with Bezwada Biomedical for 3,000 square feet of industrial/flex space at Hillsborough Business Center in Hillsborough.

Located at Stryker Lane and situated across 100 acres, the industrial/flex complex is comprised of 27 buildings of which Bezwada Biomedical has signed onto Building 8, bringing the 25,362-square-foot building to full occupancy.

Founded in 2003 by Rao Bezwanda, a renowned chemist with over 40 years of experience, Bezwada Biomedical develops and manufactures innovative, proprietary and absorbable monomers and polymers for various biomedical applications and next-generation medical devices.

Bezwada Biomedical has been a Larken tenant for over 30 years. Over the years, Larken Associates has supported its growth and success through various transactions across three buildings at Hillsborough Business Center that have seen its footprint grow from 1,500 square feet to 9,000 square feet with its latest transaction.

The Hillsborough Business Center features a prime location one block east of Route 206 in Somerset County. It is easily accessible from Routes 1, 22, and 206 as well as Interstates 78 and 287. The property is ideal for a range of tenant uses including research and development, lab, warehousing, distribution, light manufacturing and product assembly as well as fitness, recreation and daycare.

“The Hillsborough Business Center’s high level of flexibility coupled with the limited supply in New Jersey’s industrial/flex sector continues to make it an ideal place for a diverse group of tenants to call home,” said Rob Marek, executive vice president of Raider Realty, the in-house brokerage division of Larken Associates. “Our long-standing partnership with Bezwada Biomedical provides us with a deep understanding of their business needs, and it allowed us to find the perfect space in the Hillsborough Business Center’s to enable them to continue to grow their operations.”
