HBSE and White Eagle Hall name new GM of historic Jersey City theater

White Eagle Hall, the newly restored and renovated historic theater located in the thriving nightlife scene of downtown Jersey City, has a new general manager. Ashley “Ash” Christopher has been named the role, in which she will be responsible for the day-to-day management and overall property operations for the 800-plus capacity music venue, according to a Monday announcement from White Eagle Hall and Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment.

Christopher will have an active role in strategic planning, positioning, policymaking and be responsible for the implementation and execution of those plans and policies.

“We are incredibly pleased to welcome Ashley to our HBSE and Prudential Center family, and look forward to her guidance and leadership with the efficient operation of White Eagle Hall,” Sean Saadeh, executive vice president of entertainment for HBSE, stated. “As the venue continues to produce a diversified schedule of programming, we are confident that Ashley’s self-starter mentality, excellent customer service, organization and communication will play vital roles in the continued growth of this storied landmark.”

Christopher joins White Eagle Hall after spending a year overseeing the guest experience & event operation departments at Central Park’s Wollman Rink NYC. Over that time, she was responsible for event logistics, including collaboration with clients, internal departments and external vendors for all Wollman Rink events. In addition to her day-to-day production and event logistics duties, Christopher leveraged her relationships to bring in diverse programming and meaningful partners to Wollman Rink.

Prior to her time at Wollman Rink, Christopher spent time at Kings Theatre as the event & front of house manager. While there, she owned the planning and execution of private and public-facing events, including concerts, fundraisers, ceremonies, conferences, galas, photo and film shoots.
