Le Léo, new luxury rental community, opens leasing in Jersey City (SLIDESHOW)

Le Léo, a new luxury rental building featuring 99 well-appointed residences, has launched leasing in Jersey City’s historic Journal Square, according to a Tuesday announcement from developers Park Stone Management and Fields Grade.

Located at 244 St. Paul’s Ave., Le Léo is just a short walk to the Journal Square PATH Station and centrally located in a well-connected neighborhood that is regaining its distinction as the business, arts and shopping hub of Jersey City — with a modern-day residential facelift.

The distinctive six-story building offers a full suite of modern amenities and social spaces.

The developers, two prominent companies with strong ties to the Jersey City marketplace, tapped the Marketing Directors to serve as the building’s exclusive marketing and leasing agent.

“Le Léo’s stylish living spaces, curated amenities and convenient location should resonate with residents looking for a brand-new residential option in this dynamic neighborhood,” Jacqueline Urgo, president of the Marketing Directors, said. “We also expect it to appeal to those who prefer a more boutique setting over the much larger high-rises that dot the area.”

Le Léo opens with studio, one- and two-bedroom homes at prices starting in the $2,500s and Grand Opening incentives that include one month free. The residences are available for immediate occupancy.

“Journal Square’s return as the center of Jersey City is on full display throughout the neighborhood, which is teeming with dining, shops, entertainment and culture, all centered around a transit-rich infrastructure,” Jonathan Feifer, founder and owner of Park Stone Management said. “The area has also emerged as a residential destination, drawing residents from New York City, Downtown Jersey City, the state’s suburban communities and beyond. We’re excited to add Le Léo to the mix and introduce a contemporary, boutique offering to the neighborhood.”

Designed by Marchetto Higgins Stieve, Le Léo features well-designed apartments with 9-foot ceilings, luxury plank flooring and kitchens with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, full-height backsplashes, soft-close cabinetry and under-cabinet lighting. Baths are outfitted with porcelain tile floors and full-height tiled walls.

Residents and the community at large will also appreciate having local favorite Choc-O-Pain French Bakery + Café located in the building’s street-level retail space and integrated into the lobby lounge.

Situated just off John F. Kennedy Boulevard, Le Léo is less than a 10-minute walk to the neighborhood’s extensive transportation network, anchored by PATH service to Lower and Midtown Manhattan, Jersey City, Hoboken and Newark. New Jersey Transit and private buses also serve the neighborhood daily, providing convenient access to major employment and recreation centers on both sides of the Hudson River.
