Elizabethtown Gas and South Jersey Gas, both subsidiaries of Folsom-based South Jersey Industries, have launched their annual First Responders Grant Program.
The First Responders Grant Program is intended to provide critical support for operations conducted by first responder departments.
Grants will be given to organizations that are geographically located in the service area and whose programs benefit customers of South Jersey Gas.
Grant recipients will be selected based on community benefits, competitive use of funds and ability to successfully complete the identified initiative.
All paid or volunteer fire, emergency medical services and police departments serving at least one of the municipalities in the Elizabethtown Gas service area and the South Jersey Gas service area are eligible to apply.
All submissions must be received no later than 5 p.m. Nov. 4.
