Coming in June 2023 — MONOPOLY: South Jersey Shore edition

Mr. Monopoly is making his way to South Jersey, and he wants you to be part of his next venture.

Top Trumps USA, the American division of Winning Moves International, creators of classic
games and puzzles, on Thursday announced it will debut MONOPOLY: South Jersey Shore Edition in June 2023, under license from Hasbro, the global branded entertainment leader.

The company is soliciting well-established South Jersey businesses and nonprofits to become squares on the South Jersey Shore MONOPOLY Board for Life in this historic way to honor the Garden State.

Mr. Monopoly visited the Cape May Zoo to launch the campaign for South Jersey businesses and nonprofits to become squares on the South Jersey Shore MONOPOLY Board for Life.

MONOPOLY: South Jersey Shore Edition will replace the perennial board game’s famous Atlantic City squares, from Boardwalk to Park Place, with South Jersey businesses, nonprofits and landmarks. The South Jersey Shore board will also include a customized Community Chest, Chance playing cards and money, ensuring each detail of the game pays homage to the area.

“South Jersey has an incredibly unique identity as ‘The Place for Family Fun,’” Brooke Gorman, a representative from Top Trumps USA, said. “From bustling nightlife to beautiful beaches, boardwalks and everything in-between, we are excited to create an accurate portrayal of what visitors and residents love about the Shore.”

To ensure the board captures all of the most essential elements of South Jersey, Top Trumps is also soliciting recommendations from the public about which locations should be included as squares on the board.

Public submissions and business inquiries can be sent to southjerseyshore@toptrumps.com for consideration.
