Sunrise Senior Living of Livingston to offer personalized lifestyle experiences and quality care

Sunrise Senior Living on Thursday said it opened its 29th and newest community in New Jersey: Sunrise of Livingston.

Located at 290 South Orange Ave., the over 86,000-square-foot, three-story property by Lantz-Boggio Architects will provide assisted living and memory care for more than 120 residents.

Sunrise of Livingston’s suites and common areas are carefully designed by Sunrise’s in-house design team to support residents’ comfort and safety, featuring custom finishes and an emergency response system.

The community combines an elegant mix of modern and interior design touches across its shared areas and private spaces. It features custom furniture built for residents’ needs. The new community earned the prestigious healthy buildings WELL Health-Safety Rating from the International WELL Building Institute.

Constructed in partnership with Wohlsen Construction Co., Sunrise of Livingston features design elements consistent with local American Colonial style. Residents can enjoy a multifunctional bistro area, lounge, entertainment room featuring theater accommodations, activity room, common and private dining rooms, a secure rooftop garden and a beauty salon.

This community also features an innovative high-tech, indoor garden that will provide leafy greens and herbs year-round for a farm-to-table fresh experience.

“Sunrise has served the people of New Jersey for many years, and our team at Sunrise of Livingston looks forward to building on that legacy by providing the best possible experience to our residents,” Sunrise of Livingston Executive Director Toni Daniels said. “We look forward to becoming an engaged member of the local community and helping families support their loved ones in this vibrant space.”

Sunrise of Livingston sits on 3.3 acres of wooded land complemented by manicured greenspaces that provide natural beauty and accessible landscapes. The community is in Essex County in the township of Livingston with immediate access to local shops, restaurants and community offerings.
