LPGA’s Cognizant Founders Cup (to be held at Upper Montclair CC) seeks volunteers

Tournament, which honors LPGA’s 13 founding members, to be held May 10-14

The Ladies Professional Golf Association and Valley Bank are looking for volunteers for the 2023 Cognizant Founders Cup, to be held at the Upper Montclair Country Club, in Clifton, May 10-14.

Volunteers will assist with all aspects of tournament operations, in both on-course and behind the scenes capacities for the week-long event. (For more information, click here) Volunteer Registration (cuetoems.com)

As an integral part of the LPGA team, volunteers serve as the conduit between the players, spectators, event operations and media covering the tournament, delivering relevant information while providing important tournament services.

“We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with Valley Bank as sponsor of the Volunteer Program, which is a centerpiece of the operations at the Cognizant Founders Cup,” Tournament Director Scott Wood said.

“They are a strong supporter of the game, and women in business, and their commitment to this event greatly helps our mission to continue engaging, empowering, and supporting girls and women through this great sport.”

Teaneck-based Cognizant, one of the world’s leading professional services companies, is the Title Sponsor for the 2023 Cognizant Founders Cup, an event that is focused on engaging and empowering women in sports and business and which celebrates the LPGA’s heritage by paying tribute to the 13 founding members of the LPGA.

General admission tickets, providing access to the tournament grounds any day Wednesday through Sunday are $45, with a weekly 5-day pass available for $125. Hospitality packages begin at $100 per day, which includes access to on-course hospitality, a parking pass, continental breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, water, coffee, soft drinks, beer and wine.

Juniors 17 and under receive free general admission, and active and retired Military can show their ID at the gate which gives them access to a free (accompanying guests not included) grounds pass on that given day.
