Whiting retirement community welcomes Brenden Garozzo as executive director

Pines Village, an active adult retirement community in Whiting that is part of the FellowshipLIFE system, recently welcomed Brenden Garozzo as the new executive director. In this role, Garozzo provides overall strategic leadership for Pines Village. He is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the Life Plan Community, including business operations, to ensure satisfaction among residents and staff.

A seasoned professional, Garozzo possesses over two decades’ experience within the senior living and aging services industry. He is deeply experienced in senior living development and operations, having served in leadership roles at other senior living organizations.

Additionally, Garozzo previously assumed the role of deputy mayor in a neighboring municipality to his hometown, where he made significant contributions to his community for 15 years.

“I am proud to be entrusted with Pines Village’s mission of providing transformative and empowering experiences to improve the quality of services for older adults,” Garozzo said. “I look forward to leading the team as we continue to strive for improvement in line with the Fellowship spirit.”

Garozzo’s commitment to excellence and professional development led him to become a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and Certified Assisted Living Administrator in 1996. For the past 23 years, he has been sharing his expertise as an instructor for the New Jersey Assisted Living Administrator program.

“I am confident in Brenden’s ability to serve the Pines Village community while advancing the FellowshipLIFE philosophy of active and transformative aging through innovative practices. His proven track record of providing superior service to achieve the highest quality of life for community residents is inspiring,” Brian Lawrence, CEO and president of FellowshipLIFE, said.
