Overlook Flats opens leasing in Jersey City’s reenergized Journal Square

16-story building offers luxury units with abundance of amenities

Overlook Flats, a luxurious addition to Jersey City’s real estate landscape, has officially launched leasing in historic Journal Square.

Developed by Milton Fantin and the Fantin companies (Urban Property Developers and Urban Property Managers), this 16-story property at 32 Oakland Ave. offers 297 residences and an unparalleled array of indoor and outdoor amenities.

Ideally located just blocks from the Journal Square PATH Station, Overlook Flats presents studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom residences at monthly rents starting from around $2,600. This collection of homes is being offered with limited-time grand opening incentives that include up to two months’ free rent.

Initial occupancy is scheduled for this fall.

The building debuts with an on-site leasing office and fully furnished model homes, with the Marketing Directors as the exclusive marketing and leasing agent.

“Journal Square is experiencing a remarkable revival as a thriving residential, cultural and lifestyle hub, and we’re excited to introduce this upscale property to a market that is redefining itself,” Igor Fantin, business manager at Urban Property Managers, the in-house property management arm of the Fantin companies, said. “As its name suggests, Overlook Flats offers elevated views that not only overlook the Jersey City and New York City skylines, but also bear witness to the rich and vibrant setting of Journal Square. Nestled amidst a burgeoning cultural and culinary scene, and with its contemporary amenities and prime location near the PATH station, Overlook Flats encapsulates the essence of modern urban living and the reenergized spirit of its Journal Square neighborhood.”

Designed by architect Michels & Waldron and interior designer Builders Design, these loft-inspired apartments offer 9-foot ceilings and penthouses with 12-foot ceilings, wide plank vinyl flooring, preinstalled living room fans and floor-to-ceiling windows that flood each space with natural light. Kitchens are equipped with GE stainless steel appliances and designer cabinetry, while lavish baths boast frameless glass shower doors, quartz countertops and Delta matte black fixtures.

Jacqueline Urgo, pesident of the Marketing Directors, highlighted a unique aspect of Overlook Flats, noting: “Residents are afforded the opportunity to personalize their living spaces on a first-come, first-served basis, with select homes offering two different stunning color palettes for their kitchens and bathrooms, adding an additional layer of allure to the overall living experience.”
