Physical therapy provider commits to 2,600 sq. ft. at Linden retail property

SportsMed Physical Therapy has leased 2,600 square feet at 10 N. Wood Ave. in Linden, according to a Tuesday announcement from Lee & Associates New Jersey.

Lee & Associates’ Kyle Janoczkin and Erica Davidson arranged the transaction on behalf of the retail property’s ownership; Tony Nabhan, George Marogi and Edwin Flores of Keller Williams City Views served as tenant brokers.

The new lease brings the property to full occupancy and represents an expansion of SportsMed’s Garden State presence. It is the second lease Janoczkin has arranged with the fast-growing physical therapy provider as a landlord representative. SportsMed has locations throughout New Jersey and in Fairfield County, Connecticut.

“SportsMed was seeking a location along the New Jersey Turnpike corridor for its first Linden physical therapy center,” Janoczkin said. “Situated adjacent to NJ Transit’s Linden train station and with exceptional visibility and signage, 10 N. Wood Ave. proved an ideal fit for this brand’s continued growth. In fact, the property has been a magnet for health services users, with multiple medical tenants reflecting the continued diversification of open-air neighborhood retail centers in recent years.”

10 N. Wood Ave. offers ample on-site parking and proximity to public transportation and major highways. The 19,000-square-foot property is situated in a dense Union County marketplace where numerous redevelopment efforts are currently underway. 10 N. Wood Ave. benefits from high daily traffic counts and exceptional demographics, including a population of about 182,000 people within a three-mile radius.
