Avison Young arranges industrial property lease for Kamps Pallets in North Brunswick

National pallet company expands and consolidates existing facilities into a new, 153,000 sq. ft. location with outdoor storage

Avison Young has arranged a new long-term lease for Kamps Pallets at 1735 Jersey Ave. in North Brunswick to expand and consolidate its operations in Central Jersey. The national pallet company will occupy 153,320-square-feet in the 365,000-square-foot Class B industrial building. The lease also secures more than an acre of industrial outdoor storage on site, a scarce commodity in New Jersey.

Kamps Pallets is expected to move in during April.

Kamps Pallets was represented by Paul Errigo, Ed English and Ron Ganter, based in Avison Young’s Iselin office. The landlord, Saadia Group, was represented by Mindy Lissner of Cushman & Wakefield.

“Kamps Pallets faced the necessity of finding a property not just for operations, but also for trailer parking and pallet storage,” Errigo said. “The property at 1735 Jersey Ave. required a variance process to achieve that, which went very smoothly, thanks to all involved. It not only allowed us to meet Kamps Pallets’ operational needs, but also contributed positively to the community by keeping jobs and enhancing the property.”

The facility in North Brunswick minimizes operational disruption and aided employee retention for Kamps Pallets, as it is located near its previous location.

“Avison Young’s Industrial Occupier Solutions team supported us every step of the way throughout this complicated real estate process in a very challenging market for our needs,” Michael Daray, corporate counsel for Kamps Pallets, said. “Their team approach covered every aspect of strategy, financial analysis and market knowledge, allowing us to make the best decisions at the right times.”
