About the Nonprofit Professionals of Color Collective

Founded in 2020, the Nonprofit Professionals of Color Collective is a leading community and professional development organization for BIPOC leaders in the nonprofit sector. The Collective empowers its members with resources, support and connections to help them excel in their careers and drive social change in their communities.

This significant event, scheduled to take place from Oct. 12-14 at the APA Woodbridge Hotel in Edison, will bring together a diverse group of professionals of color from across the nonprofit sector for three days of learning, networking and celebration. The convention will feature an Awards Gala open to all to celebrate the strides we have made in the sector. Kishshana Palmer, CEO of ManageMint Inc., a renowned expert in leadership development and nonprofit management, will be the host and keynote speaker. She will share her dynamic and inspiring insights, making this gala a highlight of the convention. The convention’s comprehensive agenda, featuring keynote speakers, panel discussions and experiential learning opportunities, aims to foster growth, collaboration and innovation among BIPOC leaders.

The C3 Convention will feature:

  • Consultant track: Professional development dedicated to consultants of color, offering interactive workshops, panel discussions and networking opportunities designed to enhance their skills and expand their networks.
  • Nonprofit professionals track: Focused on nonprofit professionals, this track includes plenaries and workshops.
  • Awards Gala: A celebration, open to all, to honor those making significant contributions to the sector.
  • Optional experiential learning: Attendees can participate in an Executive Shadow Day or enjoy a golf lesson & networking lunch, providing unique opportunities for personal and professional growth.

We are proud to recognize the generous support of our sponsors, including Sen. Angela V. McKnight, the Grunin Foundation, Community Foundation of New Jersey, Smith Family Foundation, Community Foundation of South Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, NORWESCAP, Reworld, Garden State Equality, LISC, African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey and Susan Hairston Consulting.
