Interstate Waste Services adds 30K SF to its space at Alfred Sanzari Enterprises’ Glenpointe

Interstate Waste Services recently added nearly 30,000 square feet to its Glenpointe corporate campus in Teaneck, bringing the company’s total space to 47,545 square feet, according to a Monday announcement from the building’s owner and management firm, Alfred Sanzari Enterprises.
Sanzari was represented by Newmark’s Jeff Schotz, Dan Reider, Peter Kasparian and David Simson and Interstate Waste Services was represented by Andrew Zezas of Real Estate Strategies Corporation.
A tenant at Glenpointe since 2013, Interstate Waste Services is one of the nation’s fastest growing and most innovative waste collection, disposal and recycling companies. Serving customers from more than 20 locations across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Ohio, the company is committed to sustainability, leveraging innovative technology to reduce the impact of waste generation on the environment.
“Since we moved our corporate headquarters to Glenpointe over a decade ago, our business and team have grown considerably,” Brian Giambagno, chief financial officer of Interstate Waste Services said. “We are thrilled to remain a part of the Glenpointe community and secure the additional space we need to continue to accommodate our strategic growth.”
Carolina Gutierrez, leasing and marketing manager of Alfred Sanzari Enterprises, added, “We take a tremendous amount of pride in our ability to meet our tenants’ needs. Glenpointe’s adaptability ensures companies of all sizes can find space that fits their current business requirements while also offering the opportunity to expand into additional space in the future. We’re excited to see Interstate Waste Services’ impressive success and proud to extend our partnership well into the future.”
The iconic Glenpointe campus comprises over 670,000 square feet across four interconnected office, amenity and hotel buildings, plus a standalone, dual-branded hotel building. Situated in a prime location in Teaneck at the intersection of Interstate 80 and the New Jersey Turnpike, Glenpointe offers direct access to Midtown Manhattan via the nearby George Washington Bridge. The campus’ strategic location is enhanced by an unmatched amenities package headlined by Marketplace, An Urban Eatery, a modern dining hall offering delicious, scratch-made, chef-prepared grab n’ go meals and made-to-order options as well as specialty items from local purveyors.
In addition, the Glenpointe campus features a 26,000-square-foot fitness center; The Green, a 22,000-square-foot multi-purpose outdoor amenity space; 700 hotel rooms across three on-site hotels including the Teaneck Marriott at Glenpointe, which features a newly renovated 40,000-square-foot event and conference center; casual and fine dining options; an on-site full-service Starbucks; abundant covered parking and 24/7 security. Further enhancing the tenant experience is Glenpointe’s partnership with Better Spaces, a robust tenant engagement service that operates via The Pointe, an on-site community lounge, as well as virtually through the Better Spaces app, to offer tenants free online courses and content.
