Continental Properties and Garden Communities’ joint venture Highgate at Livingston nearly 50% leased

Just three months after opening for leasing Highgate at Livingston is nearly 50% leased. The 169-apartment property is experiencing steady demand, with nearly all of its one-bedroom apartments leased and limited inventory available. Strong interest continues for its two- and three-bedroom offerings. The joint venture between Continental Properties and Garden Communities is the latest luxury apartment development in Livingston, located at 100 Eisenhower Parkway.

“Leasing at Highgate has been incredibly strong in our first three months, with only a few one-bedroom apartments remaining. The pace and interest we are seeing in a more traditional suburb like Livingston proves that the demand exists outside of urban or downtown environments,” Fred Petak of Continental Properties said.  “Our new residents are drawn to the spacious floorplans and resort-like amenities, moving away from the standard garden apartments available in town.”

Petak added, “While our one-bedroom apartments are nearly all spoken for, we are seeing strong traffic from couples, families, and people downsizing from single-family homes leasing our two- and three-bedroom floorplans. We expect this trend to continue in 2025, especially with Livingston being ranked one of the best places to live in New Jersey.”

Highgate offers one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments with 9- or 10-foot ceilings, spacious floor plans, modern kitchen appliances with ample countertop space, balconies or patios, spa-inspired bathrooms, and in-apartment washers and dryers. The property also features a full-size pool with a sun shelf and cabanas, open green space with outdoor games, covered outdoor bar areas with TVs, barbecue grills, and a separate dog park that includes a pet spa and washing station.

The building also includes a full-size fitness center, indoor club room with game areas, catering kitchen and bar, private dining room and coworking space, pool and foosball tables, a dedicated yoga room, and a coffee bar. The property is centered around promoting a healthy lifestyle for both professionals and families seeking a luxury apartment living experience in a more traditional suburban setting.

Located with convenient access to Interstates 80, 287, and 78, and Route 24, Highgate at Livingston provides residents with excellent connectivity. Additionally, New Jersey Transit bus and train services are readily available, offering easy commutes to New York City.
