GolfCave, an indoor golf concept which first opened in Clark in 2012, opened its first South Jersey location in Marlton.
Located at Crispin Square, 230 N. Maple Ave, the company said it is expanding to meet demand as indoor golf grows in popularity for year-round practice and play.
Owned and operated by the Provost family, including Sean Provost, who became interested in the concept after playing and working at GolfCave for many years, as well as his father Peter and sister Danielle, the new location features six of the company’s signature private simulator rooms (aka Caves), each equipped with TrackMan technology, offering access to over 250 well-known golf courses and instant feedback, including live video shot analysis.
Golfers book tee times for caves equipped with an immersive hitting area, recliner seating and the option to bring their own food and beverages. Memberships are available which provide preferred tee times, discounts, 24/7 access and bankable hours.
“I saw firsthand how passionate GolfCave members are and I knew owning a franchise was a great opportunity to turn a passion into a career and work with great people,” Provost said. “Indoor golf provides a unique opportunity for golfers of all skill levels to enjoy the sport in their own way and we’re excited to share that experience in the Marlton area.”
GolfCave Founder Dave Wechsler opened his first location in Clark more than a decade ago before the indoor golf industry took off. He saw the opportunity to provide golfers with a year-round complete practice and play experience that leveraged advanced golf simulation technology to measure club and ball data with near-perfect accuracy. Now the $1.3 billion golf simulator market is projected to reach $3.3 billion by 2030 and GolfCave has four open locations with four more in New Jersey likely to open in the coming year.
In addition to the virtual course library, the Marlton location will offer lessons and host tournaments, leagues, and clinics. A Grand Opening celebration will be scheduled in January 2025.
