South Jersey’s Cannabist Mays Landing hosts ribbon-cutting on April 29

The Cannabist Company will host a ribbon-cutting at its newest New Jersey retail location, Cannabist Mays Landing, on April 29 at noon, marking the company’s third dispensary in the Garden State. It is located at 4476 Black Horse Pike, Mays Landing.

Attendees 21 and older can enjoy adult-use promotions, giveaways, vendor pop-ups and more. House brands available at Cannabist Mays Landing include Classix, Hedy, Seed & Strain, Triples Seven and the recently launched dreamt. Brand partners include Bloom, ButACake, Old Pal, Revelry, Veda Warrior and Ric Flair Drip.

“Mays Landing really stood out to us because of its location — it’s easy to get to from Atlantic City and all the shore points, so it made a lot of sense as we looked to expand in South Jersey,” said a Cannabist Company spokesperson. “We’re excited to offer more access to safe, tested and regulated cannabis products for people living in the area and those spending time down the shore.”

With the addition of the Mays Landing dispensary, The Cannabist Company strengthens its retail presence alongside existing locations in Deptford and Vineland, supported by a robust and expanding wholesale program. It operates a cultivation and production footprint spanning 320,000 square feet in Vineland. Recent upgrades to the Vineland commercial kitchen and manufacturing facilities enhance the company’s ability to meet demand for innovative, high-quality products, serving both medical and adult-use customers 21 and older.

Cannabist Mays Landing began serving medical patients in late 2024 and is now expanding access to adult-use customers with its ribbon-cutting.

“The support we’ve received at our Deptford and Vineland locations has been incredible” noted the spokesperson. “We’ve built a loyal base of medical patients and customers, and we’re really grateful for the continued support from local regulators and municipal officials who have worked with us along the way.

“As for Mays Landing, it’s been amazing to welcome our medical patients over the past four months — and now we’re thrilled to be able to expand our services to adult-use customers 21 and over,” continued the spoken. “The response so far has been fantastic, and we’re excited to keep building those connections in the community.”

“We’re thrilled to bring Cannabist Mays Landing to South Jersey, now offering access to high-quality cannabis for both medical and adult-use customers,” said Jesse Channon, president of The Cannabist Company. “Located just 20 minutes from Atlantic City and easily accessible to other shore points, this kickoff of adult-use sales cements our retail footprint in Jersey, as we continue to foster community connections, promote education and advocate for normalization of cannabis.

“As we expand to now serving both medical and adult-use consumers, our focus remains on delivering exceptional products, diverse menu options, personalized service and an accessible and welcoming experience,” he added. “We’re thankful for the amazing support we have received so far from the community, and the Hamilton Township municipal leaders, and look forward to the start of the summer season down the shore.”
