Agreements create direct transfer pathways for students from Ocean County College to Stockton

Ocean County College (OCC) and Stockton University will provide students in the arts and humanities with a direct pathway between an associate degree at OCC and a comparable bachelor’s degree program at Stockton in Galloway.

The agreements are designed to facilitate transfer for students who have earned an associate of arts at OCC in music, history, fine arts, graphic arts, design & media, and philosophy & religion into corresponding academic majors at Stockton, where they can complete their four-year degree.

“Through these 2+2 agreements, students can achieve their educational goals efficiently and affordably and graduate with timeless skills that apply across industries,” said Dr. Michael Palladino, provost and vice president for academic affairs at Stockton.

OCC President Pamela Monaco said, “These exciting new articulations will remove hurdles for Ocean County College students and enable them to move forward seamlessly as they continue their education at Stockton University.”

The articulation agreements take effect immediately and the pathways will be available to students at OCC beginning in the fall 2025 semester.
