Allmark Door, a commercial door and loading dock solutions provider in the Mid-Atlantic region, said Sept. 3 it bought the dock and door services division of Livonia, Mich.-based Alta Equipment Group Inc. for an undisclosed amount, expanding Allmark Door’s geographic footprint from Virginia to Massachusetts.
“Alta Dock & Door has a hard-earned reputation for delivering high-quality service and equipment solutions in the Northeast,” said Jeff Schmeck, CEO of Allmark Door. “In bringing our two companies together, we create one of the most enviable rosters of experienced technicians on the East Coast. There’s no dock or door need from Boston to Washington, D.C., we can’t satisfy today.”
Since its founding in 1993, Allmark Door has expanded from its New Jersey origins with additional locations in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and New York. Alta Dock & Door strengthens Allmark Door’s presence in Long Island and extends its coverage into New England.
