Sweetspot Farms dispensary opens in River Edge

Sweetspot Farms, a cannabis company with dispensaries and sustainable cultivation operations across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, announced the grand opening of its newest dispensary at 75 Route 4 in River Edge.

The brand is known for its friendly approach to customer service, creating a welcoming experience for first-time cannabis consumers, with a focus on education and low-dose product recommendations. The store design creates a low-pressure environment where customers can browse and explore a wide selection of product offerings.

“We are excited to announce the opening of Sweetspot in River Edge, New Jersey,” said Ben Herbst, chief business development officer. “Conveniently located off Route 4 with ample parking, Sweetspot’s newest store is thoughtfully designed to serve a high volume of customers with efficiency. We look forward to welcoming residents of River Edge and the greater Bergen County community. We are especially grateful to the City of River Edge for their outstanding support and collaboration throughout this process.”

The mayor of River Edge, Thomas Papaleo, joined by members of his council, was on hand for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sept. 25, to welcome Sweetspot to the community. The mayor honored the event with a proclamation, stating that the opening of Sweetspot Dispensary “represents a new chapter in our community’s local business economy, contributing to job creation and economic growth in a regulated industry.”

To celebrate its grand opening, Sweetspot River Edge will be offering 25% off storewide through Oct. 5.

This opening marks Sweetspot’s eighth dispensary, joining a growing portfolio of retail locations in New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont and Maryland.
