Jersey City fintech PiTrade aims to simplify investing for everyone

PiTrade, a fintech startup headquartered in Jersey City, is developing a real‑time copy‑trading platform that combines traditional trading with social, peer-to-peer investing. With the tagline “Everyone Gets a Share,” PiTrade’s mission is to make hedge‑fund‑level investing accessible to individuals.

“PiTrade is redefining the future of investing with a mission to make hedge‑fund‑level trading capabilities accessible to everyone,” said Co‑Founder and Chief Executive Officer Priyanka Ranjan.

Ranjan, who previously worked in quantitative research and portfolio management at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. and Goldman Sachs, co‑founded PiTrade with Chief Technology Officer Harshit Khandelwal, a former senior engineer at Amazon. The pair saw investing complexity as an opportunity to merge their expertise in finance and technology and simplify it for all investors.

“It combines regular trading and copy trading in a single platform, allowing users to discover seasoned trades, copy their portfolios or share their own strategies for others to
mirror with real‑time trade replication,” added Ranjan. “Whether you’re new to investing or an experienced trader, PiTrade helps you invest smarter with transparency and risk management.”

The platform is built around four core capabilities: It allows users to browse and instantly replicate top‑performing portfolios; manage multiple personalized portfolios without juggling multiple brokerage accounts; share their own portfolios with friends and family to foster collaboration; and track performance in real time with tools that let them adjust allocations at any moment.

PiTrade is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as an investment adviser, and its brokerage and clearing services are provided by Interactive Brokers LLC, a SEC‑registered broker‑dealer and member of FINRA and SIPC. The platform offers SIPC insurance coverage up to $500,000, and these registrations and memberships do not imply endorsement by the SEC, FINRA or SIPC.

Backed by deep financial and technological expertise, PiTrade is setting the stage for the next evolution in retail investing. For more information about PiTrade and its platform, visit the company’s website.
