PSC (Princeton Strategic Communications), a full-service marketing and communications firm headquartered in Trenton, has acquired Nonprofit Partners, an agency known for work with nonprofit organizations, health care systems and community coalitions.
The firms said the deal combines complementary strengths as clients face what PSC described as increasingly complex communications environments. PSC said the acquisition will expand its ability to support mission-driven organizations by integrating its broader communications and marketing capabilities with Nonprofit Partners’ sector expertise.
“Nonprofit Partners has built an outstanding reputation for amplifying the impact of mission-driven organizations,” Ethan Andersen, managing partner of PSC, said in a statement. “Through this new partnership, we are deepening our sector expertise and expanding the strategic communications resources available to our clients with Colleen’s leadership and perspective.”
Under the new structure, clients of Nonprofit Partners will retain their relationships with the agency’s leadership while gaining access to PSC’s broader services, including public relations, digital strategy and integrated marketing, the companies said. PSC said its existing clients will also see added depth in nonprofit, health care and higher education communications.
Nonprofit Partners founder Colleen Kendrick, who holds a Doctor of Business Administration and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, will play a role in the transition and support PSC’s continued growth, according to the announcement. Kendrick has more than 25 years of experience developing marketing and communications strategies for health care organizations, major nonprofits and community coalitions, and serves as an adjunct professor at Rowan University.
“This next chapter allows us to deliver even greater value to the organizations we serve,” Kendrick said in a statement. “Our clients will continue working with the team they trust, now supported by PSC’s broader capabilities in earned media, crisis communications, and integrated marketing.”
PSC said it was founded in 2012 and helps clients navigate public landscapes through strategic communications and integrated marketing. The firm operates as part of a circle of companies that includes Princeton Public Affairs Group and Winning Strategies Washington, a bipartisan federal relations firm.
Dale Florio, founder of PPAG, said the acquisition strengthens the broader family of firms. PSC also noted it was ranked among the state’s top five independent PR firms in O’Dwyer’s 2025 rankings.
